Property care packages can be taken on 3- 6- or 12 month agreements as set out below.
6 – 12 days
Are bought by companies for premises only requiring small amounts of maintenance works. This may apply to companies who are under a management agreement and the landlord is responsible for the structure. They only want small internal jobs doing on an ad hoc basis. With regards to staff and public visitor areas not covered by landlord management agreements. |
18 – 30 days
Are bought by companies for premises which are older and have a full repairing lease under which they are totally responsible for keeping the premises to the landlords standard to save being hit with a schedule of dilapidation at termination of lease. This means they are in a better position to budget for works and avoid being hit with a large bill later. It will also prevent any claims from staff due to health and safety failings thus reducing overall company insurance costs. |
36-60 days
Are bought by companies who own their own premises and are older type of premises and have regular ongoing maintenance issues. With structures that require continual inspections. Looking after staff welfare. Preventing major breakdowns causing downtime. Fire insurance regulations may become an issue of fire exits. Footpaths. In food areas insects and vermin are to be regularly inspected and access runs will require regular maintenance |
